Nebius Expands in the US with Dan Lawrence Appointment

Nebius, an AI cloud company, announced the appointment of Dan Lawrence as Senior Vice President and General Manager for the Americas. Lawrence will spearhead Nebius's expansion in North America, enhancing the commercial organization to accommodate surging demand for AI infrastructure.

Lawrence, based near Boston, will focus on scaling Nebius's market operations across strategic, enterprise, ISV, and AI-native customer segments. Previously, he was SVP of Global Sales for Cloud at Akamai Technologies and held leadership roles at Amazon Web Services.

Marc Boroditsky, Chief Revenue Officer at Nebius, emphasized the potential of the Americas market as the company deploys considerable new compute capacity. Lawrence's experience is expected to accelerate Nebius's growth in this region.

This move follows Nebius's approval for its first gigawatt-scale AI factory in the US. The company is expanding globally, backed by strong financial resources, developing data center campuses to support AI advancements.
