Nebius Expands UK AI Infrastructure

Nebius is set to invest approximately £1.7 billion in the UK. This expansion involves three new deployments of NVIDIA infrastructure, enhancing the company's AI presence in London. The full ramp-up of these sites will see a combined capacity of 65 MW by 2027. The initiative aligns with the UK Government's AI Opportunities Action Plan, boosting domestic compute capacity for enterprises and researchers.

This expansion supports British firms like Revolut, which has rebuilt its AI stack with Nebius to enhance production reliability and cost-efficiency. Additionally, Prima Mente is leveraging Nebius infrastructure for advances in Alzheimer's and Parkinson's treatments.

Furthermore, Nebius is strengthening its local engineering and R&D talent pool and fostering educational partnerships through Nebius Academy to address the AI skills gap. This move reinforces Nebius's role as a key player in the UK AI sector.
