YOC AG Reports Lower-than-Expected EBITDA in H1 2025 Due to Special Effects
YOC AG disclosed preliminary results indicating a lower-than-expected EBITDA for the first half of 2025. The company achieved an EBITDA of EUR 0.5 million, falling short of analysts' expectations of EUR 1.0 million. This represents a significant decrease compared to EUR 1.8 million in the same period the previous year.
The shortfall is primarily attributed to special effects, including currency fluctuations due to the depreciation of the US dollar, increased costs associated with entering the Swedish market, and higher operating expenses for their VIS.X® platform.
Despite these challenges, YOC AG has maintained its full-year guidance for 2025, projecting an EBITDA between EUR 5.5 million and EUR 6.5 million. The company anticipates consolidated revenues of EUR 39.0 million to EUR 41.0 million and net profit ranging from EUR 3.5 million to EUR 4.5 million. Comprehensive half-year results are scheduled for release on August 18, 2025.
