Announcing Escape the 9-5, Dina Ramadan’s New Roadmap for a Career Redesign

Cardiff, Wales, UK, August 18th, 2026, FinanceWire

Digital nomad coach Dina Ramadan details a strategic, freedom-focused transition to remote work in her new publication.

Announcing Escape the 9-5: A Personal Transformation Self-Help Guide to Starting a Freedom-Based Business, Dina Ramadan’s new roadmap for redesigning one’s career trajectory. Her own career shifted during a professional setback in 2014, when, after being dismissed from her position, she received unexpected guidance from her former employer. It was the push she needed to explore coaching and lifestyle redesign.

Today, Ramadan pursues a remote-first business model. And with over 12 years of coaching experience and a Master’s Degree in Organizational Psychology, she combines academic theory with practical application to help professionals redesign their careers to fit their personal needs better.

A Journey of Reinvention

For Ramadan, transitioning to a remote lifestyle meant navigating several early challenges, such as managing fluctuating income and addressing perceived issues related to her age, since she was in her early 20s. Since 2017, she has lived and worked remotely while traveling to 50 different countries.

To help maintain stability, Ramadan has established a recurring community model and diversified her services, effectively reducing her reliance on a single employer. Since then, she has coached hundreds of individuals seeking more freedom in their professional lives.

Practical Strategy over Motivational Prose

Ramadan’s forthcoming book, Escape the 9-5, is scheduled for release on August 19. It serves as a working roadmap for those who want to gain control over their professional path. The book focuses, among other things, on a smooth, strategic exit from employment. Its audience includes professionals, creatives, and entrepreneurs who find they don’t fit well in corporate systems.

It also emphasizes that the desire for autonomy is often a sign of outgrowing a rigid structure, not any indication of personal failure.

The book offers psychological insights and uses a business framework to guide readers through the emotional and strategic processes of building remote income. Ramadan also advocates for a career that meets the individual where they stand in their identity while emphasizing stability and structure. By offering a realistic approach to a major life transition, the book aims to avoid online fantasies and point the individual toward sustainable work.

Current Impact and Future Plans

Beyond her writing, Ramadan is an active part of the “digital nomad” community. She has presented at international conferences, including the Nomad Cruise, Bansko Nomad Fest, and the Alcinate Nomad Fest. Her professional portfolio includes a photography business that provides passive income, illustrating her commitment to a diversified approach to employment.

Looking to the future, Ramadan plans to continue developing her ventures while also pursuing a goal of visiting 100 countries. Her focus is on giving others the practical tools they need to achieve professional freedom. Through a combination of personal experience and a disciplined approach, she continues to support a career model defined not by rigid, archaic structures but by purpose and ownership.
