Argentum AI Announces Expansion of Global AI Factory Platform and Leadership Team

Chicago, United States, August 20th, 2026, FinanceWire

AI infrastructure company announces plans to scale its AI Factory platform, GPU infrastructure and global team as demand for large-scale AI compute accelerates

Argentum AI, an artificial intelligence infrastructure company building large-scale AI factories and AI cloud infrastructure, today announced the expansion of its global AI Factory platform alongside a broader effort to grow its leadership, engineering and infrastructure organization.

The expansion is designed to support Argentum AI’s development of hyperscale AI infrastructure combining GPU clusters, power, networking, software, operations and institutional capital within a single deployment platform.

As part of the initiative, Argentum AI is expanding the team responsible for designing, financing, deploying and operating this infrastructure, bringing together experienced executives, engineers, infrastructure architects and capital-markets professionals as global demand for AI compute continues to grow.

“The world spent the last decade competing for AI researchers. The next decade will also be a competition for the people who know how to physically build intelligence at scale,” said Andrew Sobko, Founder and CEO of Argentum AI. “That means power engineers, cloud architects, GPU infrastructure experts, capital markets leaders and operators capable of turning billions of dollars of equipment into production compute.”

Scaling the AI Factory Model

Traditional data centers were designed primarily to host applications.

The next generation of infrastructure is increasingly being designed as an AI factory: highly integrated environments built specifically to train, deploy and operate increasingly sophisticated artificial intelligence models.

These facilities combine enormous amounts of electrical power with advanced GPUs, high-speed networking, storage, cooling and software.

Argentum AI’s expansion is focused on creating infrastructure capable of supporting AI workloads at a scale increasingly measured in thousands of GPUs and hundreds of megawatts of power.

Rather than providing isolated GPU capacity, the company is building an integrated infrastructure platform designed to take customers from physical hardware deployment through to fully managed AI computing environments.

The platform spans:

Hardware-as-a-Service — commissioned, racked, powered and production-ready GPU clusters.

Bare-Metal-as-a-Service — managed compute environments with GPU operations, monitoring and enterprise service levels.

Platform-as-a-Service — Kubernetes, compute scheduling and managed application infrastructure.

By integrating these layers, Argentum AI aims to simplify the operational complexity involved in deploying large-scale AI infrastructure.

“The cloud is becoming physical again,” Sobko said. “AI brought us back to the realities of power plants, transformers, cooling systems, networking and enormous capital investment. Our opportunity is to take all of that physical complexity and turn it back into something simple for the customer: compute.”

Building the Team Behind the Infrastructure

Alongside its infrastructure expansion, Argentum AI is continuing to build a multidisciplinary organization capable of delivering projects across the full AI infrastructure lifecycle.

The company is bringing together expertise spanning GPU infrastructure, cloud architecture, data-center engineering, energy and power systems, software, operations and capital markets.

Argentum AI believes this combination of technical, operational and financial expertise will become increasingly important as AI infrastructure projects grow larger, more capital-intensive and more closely connected to global energy infrastructure.
