Award-Winning Developer Jason Colapietro Opens Suede Labs AI’s Long-Awaited SEO Cohort

Suede Labs AI⁠ today announced the opening of a limited five-business cohort offering search engine optimization (SEO), answer engine optimization (AEO), and generative engine optimization (GEO). Participants may also engage Suede AI’s deployed engineers for optional AI workflow implementation and employee training.

The company is also offering free website audits through 11:59 p.m. Eastern on September 20, 2026, whether or not the cohort reaches capacity.

Led by developer, author, and speaker Jason Colapietro⁠, the program is designed to help businesses improve how they appear in traditional search results and how they are represented in AI-generated answers. Services include technical website improvements, content development, public information, and public relations support.

The program also incorporates knowledge-graph principles, including the relationships among businesses, people, and areas of expertise. Suede AI evaluates how cohorts are documented and connected to websites, content and broader public presence.

Businesses selecting the optional AI services work with Suede AI engineers to identify and implement practical applications across lead handling, sales, administrative work and management oversight. Engineers review existing workflows, identify bottlenecks, establish priorities and assign measurable objectives.

Training is available for both managers and employees. Managers learn how to identify suitable AI applications, assign responsibility, and evaluate results. Employees receive role-specific instruction on directing AI systems, reviewing outputs, handling exceptions, and recognizing decisions that require human approval.

Managed workflows operate through Suede AI Agent Studio⁠, which allows clients to monitor activity and inspect outputs in real time. Potential applications include lead qualification, call review, sales support, and recurring administrative tasks.

Colapietro’s open-source Suede Creator SEO AI Skills support Claude Code and OpenAI Codex across SEO, marketing, business operations, and software delivery. The collection recently won Anthropic skills competition and is also included by default in OpenAI’s Codex plugin marketplace as the SEO plugin. The skills have been invoked more than 40,000 times and have been used by more than 40 SEO companies.

“At the very least, I’m glad their customers are being served with proper tooling,” Colapietro said.

Colapietro’s engineering record includes contributions merged into 43 external repositories, including Jest JavaScript, Adobe’s React Spectrum, Backstage, and Linux kernel. He has also published five books, including Proof as Infrastructure: Designing Durable Systems Without Trust Assumptions.

Businesses requesting a free audit will receive a report identifying website problems, prioritized recommendations, and the technical code needed to implement the fixes. The materials can be reviewed by a company’s internal engineers or existing SEO provider.
