Blognice: Open-Source, Privacy-First Blogging Platform for Managing Multiple Blogs
CHIANG MAI, Thailand, September 9th, 2026, FinanceWire
Pragmatic Online Co., Ltd. today announced the public launch of Blognice (blognice.com), its open-source blogging platform designed for independent writers, creators, and small businesses.
Available both as a free self-hosted open-source platform and as a fully managed hosted service, Blognice offers a simple, privacy-focused alternative to complex web publishing tools.
The platform eliminates maintenance overhead such as server management, plugin compatibility issues, and complex control panels. From a single account, users can launch and manage up to five independent blogs using custom domains, publish unlimited posts, invite collaborators per blog with role-based access, and retain full ownership of their content and subscriber lists. Key features include integrated Markdown editing, full data portability, custom domain support, and optional AI-assisted tools for image generation and audio narration.
The launch addresses a growing demand among online creators seeking simplicity without sacrificing data control. While WordPress is used by 40.7% of all websites according to W3Techs (Sept 7, 2026), many creators struggle with security updates, plugin fatigue, and rising hosting costs.
“Independent publishing should be straightforward without requiring creators to hand over data control or manage complicated software,” said Ray Vahey, founder of Blognice. “We designed Blognice to provide the ownership of self-hosted software with the convenience of a modern, distraction-free publishing workflow.”
The Blognice managed platform is available today. The open-source edition is freely available for self-hosting on GitHub at github.com/pragmaticonline/blognice. Additional information and press assets are available on the Blognice website.
