Herrsching/Troisdorf, 14 April 2026 – Canify AG’s new platform, developed in collaboration with IhreApotheken.de, connects pharmacies, manufacturers and patients – ensuring a reliable product range, high quality and excellent availability.
Canify AG, together with IhreApotheken.de KGaA (iA), is launching CATHAROS in 2026, the largest digital marketplace for medical cannabis in Germany. The partnership builds on iA.de’s tried-and-tested system. CATHAROS connects patients directly with the iA.de network and ensures a fast, high-quality supply of cannabinoid-based medicines through up to 7,500 pharmacies.
Instead of an overwhelming range of products with an unclear supply situation, CATHAROS offers a carefully curated, multi-brand range of the most relevant cannabis-based medicines on the market. The focus of the offering is on consistently high supply capacity to enable patients to receive reliable and predictable treatment. Cannabis-based medicines are dispensed exclusively via local pharmacies.
CATHAROS is designed as a pharmacy-centric platform that focuses on the procurement and supply of available medicines and processes only legally compliant prescriptions. With the support of iA.de, Canify AG is thus establishing a patient-oriented, reliable service that also addresses the shortcomings currently under public debate.
