Coinmico Launches Crypto Market Data Platform Built From Observed Trading Activity

Subang, Indonesia, September 18th, 2026, FinanceWire

Coinmico has announced the public launch of its cryptocurrency market data platform, providing users with market information calculated from trading activity collected across centralized exchanges and blockchain networks.

Unlike services that rely on exchange-reported trading volume, Coinmico records trades from the markets it monitors and uses that information to calculate its own market statistics. At launch, the platform covers 2,255 digital assets, 21,351 markets and 78 trading venues, with data collection spanning 43 exchanges and 19 blockchains.

All features on the platform are available free of charge.

Coinmico is a market data service. The launch does not involve a Coinmico token, token sale or initial coin offering.

Building Market Data from Recorded Trades

A central part of Coinmico’s approach is how it handles trading volume.

Rather than accepting a trading venue’s self-reported volume and presenting that figure directly to users, the platform records trading activity from the venues it covers. Those observed trades are then processed to produce market information including prices, charts and trailing 24-hour volume.

The approach is intended to provide users with figures based on the trading activity Coinmico itself can observe.

This distinction is particularly relevant in cryptocurrency markets, where data can originate from a large number of centralized and decentralized venues operating with different reporting practices.

Coverage Across Exchanges and Blockchains

At public launch, Coinmico covers 2,255 assets across 21,351 individual markets.

Its infrastructure records trading information from 43 exchanges while also following activity across 19 blockchains. In total, the platform currently covers 78 venues.

Bringing exchange and blockchain activity into the same data platform allows users to examine cryptocurrency markets without relying exclusively on one type of trading venue.

Coverage can also evolve as markets change, new trading pairs become available and existing markets are removed. As a result, the number of assets, markets and venues available through the platform may change over time.

Prices Calculated from Coinmico's Own Data

Coinmico uses the trading information it collects to construct its own cryptocurrency prices rather than simply displaying a price supplied by another market data aggregator.

The same underlying approach is used to create market charts and 24-hour trading volume figures.

This means the platform’s displayed market information is connected to its own data collection process. The objective is to provide a consistent methodology across the different market pages and tools available to users.

Coinmico does not claim that market data can be error-free. Cryptocurrency markets operate continuously, and interruptions, unusual trading conditions, delayed data or technical issues at individual venues can affect the information available to any market data provider.

Separating Observed and Reported Information

The platform also makes a distinction between figures it measures itself and information that originates elsewhere.

For trading volume, Coinmico focuses on the value of trades it has recorded rather than presenting the volume claimed by an exchange as Coinmico’s own measurement.

This gives users additional context when comparing market activity across different venues. A platform can only measure the exchanges, markets and blockchain activity within its coverage, so its totals may differ from figures published by services using other methodologies or larger sets of reported data.

Such differences do not necessarily indicate an error. They can reflect differences in market coverage, calculation rules and data sources.

Free Access to Platform Features

Coinmico is launching with its platform features available to users at no charge.

The service is designed for people who need cryptocurrency market information for research, comparison and general market monitoring. Users can view market data without Coinmico functioning as an exchange or taking custody of cryptocurrency.

This distinction is important because Coinmico does not provide a venue for buying, selling or storing digital assets. Its role is focused on collecting, processing and presenting market information.

A Data Platform, not a Cryptocurrency Project

Coinmico’s public launch is specifically the introduction of a crypto market data platform.

There is no Coinmico cryptocurrency being introduced as part of the announcement, and the company is not conducting an ICO or other token fundraising event.

The platform does not provide price forecasts or promises regarding the future performance of Bitcoin, Ethereum or any other digital asset. Its market information is intended to describe observed activity rather than predict where prices may move next.

Cryptocurrency markets remain volatile, and market data should not be interpreted as investment advice or a recommendation to purchase or sell an asset.
