Deep Principle Partners with SHINEHIGH Innovation to Accelerate AI-Driven Molecule Discovery

Deep Principle, a global pioneer in AI for Materials, has deepened its partnership with SHINEHIGH Innovation to accelerate AI-driven molecule discovery. In April, the two companies signed a framework agreement for joint pipeline co-development and commercialization, building on a collaboration that began last year.

In materials R&D, the gap between a promising prediction and a verified, usable material can take years to close. Deep Principle is narrowing that gap — pairing generative AI with an autonomous lab to turn predictions into validated physical results. The SHINEHIGH partnership is its clearest demonstration of that model.

The two companies are building on Synthrix, SHINEHIGH's AI-powered supramolecular materials platform, as their shared foundation, with Deep Principle's AI Scientist platform, integrated into core R&D workflows.

Through the partnership, the two companies will collaborate across four sectors — personal care and beauty, biopharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, and renewable energy — with the shared platform supporting joint R&D and commercialization across each.

Starting with beauty, the two companies are prioritizing four core efficacy areas in the first phase — anti-aging, skin-brightening, antioxidant, and soothing & repairing active molecules — with more than ten high-value candidate molecule directions planned, delivered in stages as projects progress. Commercially, they are exploring a hybrid model of upfront payments, milestone payments, and revenue sharing or buyout, with the potential to reach millions of dollars as projects advance.
