Hirschmann Private Rolls Out Advanced Order Execution Controls Across All Trading Accounts

AMSTERDAM, Netherlands, August 27th, 2026, FinanceWire

Hirschmann Private has announced an expansion of its order execution capabilities, making a broader set of order types, conditional logic tools, and position management controls available to traders across every account tier. The update applies to all active accounts from the date of release, adding functionality that was previously available only on request or through workaround strategies, and bringing the platform's order management layer closer to what active traders use in professional settings.

The announcement covers market orders, limit orders, stop orders, and a newly integrated one order cancels the other structure, alongside trailing stop functionality that adjusts automatically as a position moves in the trader's favour. Each control is accessible from within the existing order ticket interface, with no additional configuration required at the account level.

New Order Types Now Available to All Account Holders

The core addition to Hirschmann Private's order management layer is a structured set of exit controls that operate independently of a trader being present at the screen. A take profit instruction and a stop loss instruction can now be attached to the same order at the point of entry, without needing to be placed as separate manual steps after the position is open. When either condition is met, the other is automatically cancelled.

Trailing stops have also been formalised into the standard order ticket. Traders can specify a fixed pip distance or a percentage offset, and the stop adjusts upward as price moves in the intended direction, locking in gains without requiring a manual amendment. Previously, achieving the same outcome required monitoring the position and updating the stop by hand.

The update also introduces a pending order queue for traders who want to stage entries in advance. Rather than waiting at the screen for a price level to be reached, a trader can submit a limit or stop entry order with the full exit structure attached and leave the platform to execute without further input. All order types apply across the full instrument range, including currency pairs, indices, commodities, and individual equities where available.

Conditional Logic and Position Management in the Same Workflow

Beyond the individual order types, the update centres on integrating conditional logic into the standard trading workflow rather than keeping it as a specialist option. In practical terms, a trader building a position in a single instrument can now set entry, take profit, stop, and trailing stop parameters within one interface screen, confirming them as a single submission rather than returning to the order book to amend each leg separately.

Position management tools have been updated in parallel. The account summary panel now displays live exposure for each open position alongside the margin in use, the unrealised result, and the distance remaining to each standing order level. Traders can amend stop and take profit levels directly from the panel by dragging order lines on the chart or entering revised figures in the order table, with changes taking effect immediately.

A partial close function has been added for positions held across multiple units. Rather than closing an entire position when a target is reached, traders can reduce their size while leaving the remainder to run, managing the process through the same panel without placing a separate opposing order. Risk exposure updates dynamically as each partial close is confirmed.

An Internal Roadmap Review Drove the Scope of This Build

The scope and sequencing of the update were shaped by an internal product roadmap review completed earlier this year, in which the development team mapped the gap between the order controls on the platform and those that active traders with more than one year of market experience typically rely on. The conclusion was that the most meaningful improvement was not adding new instruments or changing the interface layout, but extending the execution layer to cover common position management patterns that traders were handling manually.

The rollout was scoped to avoid requiring traders to change their existing habits or learn the interface from scratch. New controls appear as optional additions within the familiar order ticket rather than as a separate module, and existing open positions are unaffected by the change.

Rollout Schedule and Access Across the Platform

The updated order controls are live for all Hirschmann Private account holders as of the announcement date. No account upgrade or additional verification step is required, and the controls are available whether a trader accesses the platform through a desktop browser or a supported mobile browser. The full instrument range is compatible with the updated order ticket from launch.

Hirschmann Private has published a dedicated section in its help centre covering each new order type, including worked examples showing how a trailing stop adjusts across different market conditions and how the one order cancels the other structure resolves when price reaches a target level. The material is available to all registered users without a login prompt.

Traders who have standing orders placed under the previous system are not required to amend or resubmit them. The existing instructions remain valid, and the new functionality applies to all orders placed from the update date. Customer support is available through live chat and the help centre ticket system for traders with specific questions about order compatibility.
