L’Arte Designs Founder Marinella Caramanno Unveils Integrated Art Installation at Fort Lauderdale Estate

Miami, FL, July 15th, 2026, FinanceWire

L’Arte Designs today announced the completion of a custom art and interior installation created by founder Marinella Caramanno for the Fort Lauderdale estate of Miguel Guerrero.

Located on the Isle of Venice, the residential project features large-scale artistic panels and architectural surfaces created with natural minerals, epoxy, metallic pigments, Italian stone influences, and precious metals, including gold, silver, platinum, and copper.

The installation reflects Caramanno’s signature “Art Design” approach, which combines fine art with interior and architectural design. Instead of creating artwork as a separate decorative feature, Caramanno develops murals, wall panels, countertops, bathroom surfaces, and other installations as permanent elements of the surrounding space.

“This project represents my belief that art should not simply be placed inside a home—it should become part of the home,” said Marinella Caramanno, founder of L’Arte Designs. “Every surface was created to complement the architecture while introducing movement, texture, light, and the natural character of minerals and metals.”

Art Integrated into the Architecture

For the Fort Lauderdale estate, Caramanno produced a collection of individually handcrafted panels designed to function as both artwork and architectural surfaces.

The panels were hand-painted and layered with minerals, epoxy, metallic pigments, and precious-metal elements. Each piece was developed specifically for its location within the property, allowing the artwork to respond to the room’s scale, lighting, furnishings, and overall design.

Reflective materials create visual changes as natural and artificial light moves across the surfaces. Mineral textures, layered pigments, and metallic details provide additional depth and movement throughout the installation.

The completed project demonstrates how customized artwork can be incorporated into residential architecture rather than added after construction or interior design work has been completed.

Caramanno’s Art Design Philosophy

Caramanno uses the term “Art Design” to describe her multidisciplinary practice, which connects painting, material experimentation, interior design, and architectural craftsmanship.

Her portfolio includes:

  • Large-scale murals and artistic walls
  • Hand-painted decorative panels
  • Customized countertops
  • Artistic bathroom surfaces
  • Mineral and metallic installations
  • Integrated residential art features

Natural minerals, stones, metallic pigments, and precious metals are recurring elements in her work. Caramanno selects materials based on their appearance, texture, reflective qualities, cultural meaning, and relationship with the surrounding environment.

Her creative philosophy is also influenced by artistic and spiritual traditions that associate certain materials with symbolic qualities. Gold is frequently connected with illumination and abundance, silver with calmness and balance, platinum with transformation, and copper with connection and emotional harmony.

These associations form part of Caramanno’s personal artistic philosophy and are not presented as scientifically established effects.

“I work with materials that have history, symbolism, and a strong visual identity,” Caramanno said. “Gold, copper, silver, stone, and minerals each interact differently with light and movement. When they are combined thoughtfully, they can completely change the atmosphere and identity of a room.”

Influenced by Italian Art and Craftsmanship

Caramanno’s work draws heavily from Italian art, natural materials, craftsmanship, and cultural traditions.

The Fort Lauderdale installation incorporates colors, textures, and material combinations inspired by Italian stones and minerals. These influences are presented through a contemporary design language suited to the architecture and character of the estate.

Each component was created by hand, ensuring that no two panels or surfaces are identical. The resulting installation brings together traditional artistic techniques and modern materials in a customized residential environment.

An Artistic Journey Beginning at Age Five

Caramanno began painting at the age of five under the guidance of her father, a self-taught painter and guitarist.

While living with paralysis caused by brain cancer, her father taught her painting techniques from his bedside and encouraged her interest in creative expression. Caramanno describes those early lessons as the foundation of her artistic career and her continuing connection to art, family, resilience, and Italian culture.

Her name was inspired by “La Canzone di Marinella,” a song by Italian singer-songwriter Fabrizio De André that her father admired and learned to play on the guitar.

That connection between painting, music, storytelling, and family heritage continues to influence the emotional and narrative qualities of Caramanno’s work.
