Omni3D Opens U.S. Headquarters and Signs National Distribution Agreement With Build Momentum

Omni3D Sp. z o.o., an ISO 9001:2015-certified European additive manufacturing company with NATO supplier status (NCAGE 9BT1H, AQAP 2110), has opened its U.S. headquarters in Alexandria, Virginia, and signed a national distribution agreement with Build Momentum to support its expansion in North American industrial and defense manufacturing markets.

The new U.S. operation is intended to provide North American customers with local technical support, spare-parts availability and application engineering for Omni3D’s industrial polymer and metal additive manufacturing systems.

Under the distribution agreement, Arlington, Virginia-based Build Momentum will support sales, service and defense procurement activities for Omni3D’s additive manufacturing systems in the United States. The agreement expands Omni3D’s North American channel while providing Build Momentum with access to the company’s polymer and metal additive manufacturing portfolio.

Omni3D is also seeking qualified distribution partners and value-added resellers to expand its commercial industrial channel across regional manufacturing markets.

Industrial Additive Manufacturing Applications

Omni3D develops large-format polymer and metal additive manufacturing systems for applications including functional end-use parts, assembly fixtures, tooling, end-effectors and replacement components.

The company’s material portfolio includes high-temperature thermoplastics such as PEKK-A and PEI 9085, as well as carbon-fiber-reinforced materials including CF-PA12.

According to Omni3D, its systems are designed to support applications where manufacturers are evaluating alternatives to conventional metal tooling and components. Depending on the application, material, geometry and production requirements, additive manufacturing can provide an alternative approach to selected tooling and part-production workflows.

Omni3D also identifies thermal management and controlled processing as important considerations when manufacturing components from high-temperature thermoplastics. Its systems include configurations with actively heated chambers intended to support processing requirements associated with these materials.

Specific performance characteristics can vary according to material, geometry, machine configuration and processing conditions.

U.S. Defense and Industrial Applications

The agreement with Build Momentum expands Omni3D’s presence in the U.S. defense manufacturing market.

Build Momentum will support sales, service and procurement activities for Omni3D’s additive manufacturing systems, including applications involving field manufacturing, tooling and replacement-part requirements.

The companies will also present selected additive manufacturing technologies at the International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS) 2026 in Chicago, taking place September 14–19.

Omni3D and Build Momentum at IMTS 2026

The companies will demonstrate Omni3D’s industrial systems at South Building, Level 3, Booth 338591 during IMTS 2026.

The showcase will include the company’s PRO and TECH+ systems.

The PRO Series, including the OmniPro HT, is designed for high-temperature extrusion applications and features an actively heated chamber, dual directional extruders and closed-loop motion control.

The TECH+ Series is designed for large-format composite tooling and continuous industrial production applications using materials including CF-PA12 and other industrial thermoplastics.

The companies will also present technologies intended for defense and field-manufacturing applications, including the TFU20 containerized Tactical Fabrication Unit and Omni3D’s OmniM150 and OmniM280 metal laser powder bed fusion platforms.

The U.S. headquarters and distribution agreement form part of Omni3D’s broader North American expansion strategy.

The company plans to continue developing its network of distributors and value-added resellers while expanding technical and customer support capabilities in the region.

The IMTS 2026 showcase will provide an opportunity for manufacturers and other industry participants to review Omni3D’s industrial additive manufacturing systems and discuss potential applications with the company’s representatives and Build Momentum.
