Reworthing Launches: An Independent Scoring Framework for Direct Selling and Social Commerce
London, UK, August 10th, 2026, FinanceWire
Reworthing, an independent editorial platform focused on the direct selling, multi-level marketing (MLM), and social commerce industries, announced its official launch today. The platform is built around the WORTH Score, an AI-powered algorithmic framework designed to give consumers, sellers, and industry observers a structured way to evaluate individual companies.
Each company is assigned a score out of 100 points and a corresponding letter grade, ranging from RW-AAA to RW-D, based on six weighted dimensions: revenue trend, legal risk, product legitimacy, social presence, seller validation, and traffic and search visibility. Full methodology, including how each dimension is weighted, is published at reworthing.com/editorial-policy.
The platform was built on the premise that information in the direct selling space is often fragmented or difficult to verify, and that companies, sellers, and consumers can benefit from a more structured, evidence-based way to assess a company's standing. The WORTH Score is not a purchasable service: it reflects only the changes a company makes on the dimensions actually measured, independent of any commercial relationship with Reworthing.
Editorial independence is the platform's founding principle. Reworthing generates revenue through individual subscriptions and dedicated company-tier plans, but its scoring methodology remains entirely separate from any commercial relationship: no payment can influence, accelerate, or alter a score.
The WORTH Score is developed by reviewing publicly available records, including filings and enforcement actions published by the FTC and SEC EDGAR, court records, official company disclosures, and public statements from industry associations such as the DSA, Seldia, and WFDSA, alongside reporting from independent financial media such as Reuters, Bloomberg, and The Wall Street Journal. These sources are consulted for factual reference only; none of them endorses, sponsors, or otherwise participates in Reworthing's scoring methodology.
As of launch, the WORTH Score has been applied to more than 30 direct selling companies, with additional companies added on an ongoing basis. The platform is live at reworthing.com, with editorial content organized into news, case studies, and interviews covering the industry.
