The Floor 8 Launches Simulated Prop Trading Platform

Rodney Bay, Saint Lucia, July 23rd, 2026

The Floor 8 introduces flexible evaluation paths, simulated funded accounts and performance-based reward options

The Floor 8 announced the launch of its simulated proprietary trading platform, offering retail traders several evaluation and account options built around clearly defined trading conditions, flexible timelines and performance-based rewards.

The platform enters a competitive prop trading market in which traders often compare evaluation requirements, drawdown rules, payout conditions and available trading strategies before selecting a firm. The Floor 8 said its operating model was developed to make those terms easier to understand while supporting different trading styles.

“The idea isn’t to make trading easier. It’s to make the experience easier to understand,” Alexandre Ducharme, CEO of The Floor 8 said. “The platform is structured to give traders clear rules, flexible funding paths and fewer unnecessary restrictions.”

The Floor 8 says its approach was shaped by its founder’s more than 10,000 hours of live-market trading experience. According to the company, those experiences informed the platform’s focus on transparency, disciplined trading and gradual performance development rather than promises of quick or guaranteed success.

Multiple Evaluation and Account Options

Traders can select from one-step and two-step evaluations, instant access through Floor Pass or the Pass Then Pay option. The platform also offers static and trailing drawdown models, multiple account sizes and optional payout configurations.

Challenges have no time limit, allowing participants to complete applicable objectives without a fixed deadline. Depending on the selected account type and governing terms, traders may also be permitted to hold positions overnight or over weekends, trade during news events and use scalping strategies.

Eligible participants may receive a 15% performance-based reward based on results achieved during the evaluation phase. The company also offers a challenge-fee refund following a trader's third eligible funded payout.

Simulated funded accounts begin with a 90% performance-reward split. Eligible traders may select an upgrade providing a 100% split, subject to the applicable account terms, trading rules and payout conditions.

The company said its funded-account structure does not impose minimum trading days before an eligible payout request. Weekly, biweekly and on-demand payout options may be available depending on the selected programme and any applicable upgrades.

Focus on Clear Trading Conditions

The Floor 8 said its platform is designed for traders seeking a choice of evaluation structures rather than a single standard model. Participants can select an option based on their preferred trading pace, drawdown structure, account size and payout schedule.

The firm’s services involve simulated trading. TF8 Technologies Ltd. does not operate as a broker, investment adviser or financial representative, does not accept client deposits and does not provide investment recommendations. Simulated results do not represent actual market executions and may differ materially from live trading results.

Trading foreign exchange and other leveraged instruments involves substantial risk. Participation does not guarantee that a trader will pass an evaluation, receive a payout or achieve profitability. Individual results vary, and participants should review all programme rules, risk disclosures and eligibility requirements before purchasing an evaluation.
