Linde Expands Agreement with Steel Authority of India Limited
The press release announces Linde plc's expansion of its existing long-term agreement for the supply of industrial gases with Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL). Linde will now build, own, and operate an additional 1,000 tons per day Air Separation Unit (ASU) to nearly double its on-site production at SAIL's Rourkela steel plant. Linde Signs Record Number of Small On-Site Projects in 2023
Linde plc has announced a record number of new small on-site projects for 2023, marking its fourth consecutive year of growth. The projects, totaling $270 million in capex, focus on the supply of nitrogen and oxygen using Linde's proprietary ECOVAR® technology, designed for efficiency and environmental sustainability. The company's NITRONTM on-site nitrogen plants are in high demand across sectors such as battery storage for consumer electronics and electric vehicles, while the VITRON® on-site oxygen plant projects cater to the glass and metals industries.
