Meridian Commences Cabaçal's PFS & Advances Santa Helena Resource Delineation in Expansion of the Cabaçal Belt's Hub and Spoke Strategy
Meridian Mining UK S is pleased to report the continued success of drilling at the Santa Helena mine, with the discovery of a rich layer of Au-Cu-Ag and Zn VMS mineralization grading 11.0m @ 5.2g/t AuEq and 6.8m @ 3.3g/t AuEq. The company's strategy to advance multiple prospects within the Cabaçal VMS Belt aims to maximize value for shareholders through upgraded work programs and increased resource potential. Additional drilling intercepts have extended Santa Helena's prospective VMS mine sequence, while the company also continues to see robust zones of copper-gold & silver mineralization in the Cabaçal Mine area. The Cabaçal Project's current engineering and drill programs will be upgraded to complete a Pre-Feasibility Study on an expanded production case, increasing project certainty. Santa Helena is firmly advancing towards its inaugural resource, with a strong focus on maximizing potential for open-pit resources and leveraging the proposed 'Hub and Spoke' strategy for the Cabaçal VMS belt's development. Further assay results from Cabaçal and Santa Helena are pending, demonstrating the company's commitment to ongoing exploration and potential resource expansion. -
